Become A New Patient

Using a mobile device? Registered users can now set up appointments with Boyd Health using the AMS connect app.

Follow the links below to get started.

Step 1

New Patients can register online via the link below.

Please have your medicare card details ready so we can process rebates if applicable.

As you proceed to book your first appointment, you will be prompted with a dialogue to enter your details. Once this is filled out, click on New Patient to register to the clinic.

Step 2

Once you have registered as a New Patient you will be able to book your first appointment.

Step 2

Select the appointment type. 

Please note that Medicare rebates are not be eligible for Telehealth consults if you are a new patient, or you have not had an in-person consult with Boyd Health within 12 months. See our consultation fees page for more information

Step 4

Consider requesting that Boyd Health is sent a health summary from any practice that may hold relevant details about your health. This will help us to provide accurate and appropriate care for you.

Step 3

Enter your reason for making an appointment.

Step 4

Verify the information is correct and read through the disclaimer. Card details will be requested on the following screen. Enter requested details and click Authorise.

Please note Boyd Health requires an active card to be linked to your account before appointment bookings can be confirmed.

Step 5

You will receive an SMS with a booking confirmation text. Please reply with “YES” to confirm your booking as indicated in the notification.

Boyd Health may cancel your booking if it is not confirmed.

Manage your bookings on the booking page (indicated in the image) or download the AMS Connect app using the instructions at the top of this page.
